Three Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Honour

England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and cricket star Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the 2025 Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
The three finalists have been celebrated for their outstanding achievements over the last year.
Agyemang helped the Lionesses secure Euro 2025, Littler claimed the world title for the very first time, and Perrin surged to prominence with a unprecedented innings.
Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his sensational debut year.
The finalists were announced live on a national radio breakfast show.
This year's winner will be unveiled on the Sports Personality of the Year show on December 18th.
The ceremony will be broadcast from 19:00 GMT.
Agyemang's Profile

Just three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory.
She entered the fray to score vital last-gasp goals in both the knockout stage games.
These match-saving moments led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.
Subsequently, she was awarded the prestigious Golden Girl honour for the top young European talent.
She was also shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player.
Agyemang, who has been on loan at Brighton from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.
"Being nominated for this honour is an honour," said Agyemang. "I thank God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my family, coaches, team-mates and fans."
Luke Littler
Age: 18 Sport: Darts
Littler's 2025 began in sensational style as - aged 17 - he became the earliest-ever winner in history.
He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious triple crown of major titles.
He didn't stop there - his triumph in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he ascended to world number one for the maiden occasion.
At 18, he is the youngest man to do so, breaking the previous record.
"To receive a nomination for Young Sports Personality of the Year is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a special memory for me and I've had another unbelievable 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."
Davina Perrin
Age: 19 Sport: Cricket
Perrin is one of English cricket's brightest emerging stars and burst into the spotlight with an remarkable and historic innings in August.
Her brilliant 42-ball century in The Hundred is the speediest century from an England batswoman in T20s.
It also stands as the shared third-fastest women's T20 century in a major league or full member T20 international.
Perrin finished second in the run-scoring charts and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.
"I'm truly honoured to be nominated for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award," expressed Perrin. "It means a great deal. I hope it encourages more young women to get into cricket."
