Ex- Physician Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Involving 38 Patients
Prosecutors have stated that a ex- doctor now faces charges for committing assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of acts of sexual assault â comprising acts against minors under the age of thirteen â between 2017 and 2021.
One senior prosecutor commented, âOur prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.â
The Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what investigators described as a âcomplex investigationâ into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January.

Prosecutors outline the 45 sexual offences comprise:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
